Transient Shock Recorder
Based on our ER (Embedded Recorder) platform, the TSR (Transient Shock Recorder) is a great tool for
unattended monitoring of acceleration, temperature and pressure. The TSR is an ultra low power system lasting
up to 6 months on its internal, rechargeable Li-Ion battery.

Data Recorder Functions
- Sampling Rate: 20 KHz per channel, 12 bit ADC.
- Memory: 512 MByte flash – up to 6,000 events.
- Battery: Up to 6 months operation on full charge.
- Trigger: Contact closure or level trigger of acceleration in any axis.
Level trigger software programmable from 2 to 20% of full scale.
- Event Duration: Dynamic duration, continues to collect data up to 500 msec or until
Lacceleration returns below trigger level for predetermined time.
- Communications / Power: USB for PC data download and internal Li-Ion battery charge.
Operating Modes
Ready Mode: waiting for trigger, data collection starts <20 µsec after trigger
Data Collection Mode: collects data from sensors at 20 KHz / channel until acceleration
data stays below trigger threshold. Automatically re-arms
and goes back to Ready Mode.
ER Platform – Custom Options for High Volume Applications
Up to 8 channels of 1 Hz to 20 KHz/channel, 12 bit ADC and 8 GByte memory.
Most any sensor type and custom packaging for embedded applications.
